From the Principal’s Desk

Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram Vidyapith, Domra, P.O.- Trilockchandrapur, Dist. : Paschim Bardhaman is catering education to students covering 70 surrounding villages in the Jangal Mahal area based on Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. The students are mostly from weaker sections of the society. The Vidyapith has more than fifteen hundred (1500) students from Nursery to Class-X for Bengali medium. We have decided to start an English Medium School for meritorious students, so that under our close guidance they can become better citizens of tomorrow. From this year 2026 we have decided to start Hostel Building with hundred (100) meritorious students of this year's 2026.
Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram was established by an instrument of registered Trust in the year 1973, and this Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram is a member of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Bhab Prochar Parishad for the districts of Burdwan, Bankura and our Advisor is Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, Howrah and the objectives of this institution is to impart man-making education to the students of the surrounding 70 village with the philosophy of Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sarada and Swami Vivekananda and our Sevashram and Sevashram Vidyapith are completely secular and it is approved from the Pre-Nursery to Class-X, by the Govt. of West Bengal (W.B.B.S.E.) Board.
We have got the two storied school building with sufficient space, class room, drinking water, separate toilet for girls & boys. Students with boundary walls, play ground with adequate teaching and non-teaching staff and we provide man-making education to the students as advised by Swami Vivekananda.
But this Vidyapith does not get any financial aid from the Govt., and the approval of the Vidyapith is non-financial. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the Vidyapith get a meagre amount of honorarium from the collection of tuition fees at a minimum rate and they give their services to the Vidyapith for serving to the society.
